MEET THE FOUNDER
Founder Dani, has spent over 25 years crafting unforgettable travel experiences. Her journey began with one of the largest UK tour operators, where she honed her skills before diving into the world of luxury travel at the esteemed concierge company Quintessentially. Over 11 years, Dani dedicated herself to curating exceptional experiences for high-net-worth individuals, refining her expertise in bespoke travel.
Dani Thomas Private Travel was born in 2015 at the same time as her daughter Ivy when Dani realised the corporate world no longer aligned with her desire for personal freedom and precious moments with her family.
Her travel story began in Greece, where she lived early in her career. Greece, with its warm hospitality and stunning landscapes, remains a favourite, with Athens ranking among her top cities in the world.
Dani’s love affair with the Caribbean is deeply personal. Engaged in Barbados, married in Antigua, and mini-mooning in Anguilla and St. Barths, she’s cultivated a strong connection to the region, especially since her daughter is of St. Lucian heritage. The Caribbean holds a special place in her heart, and she returns frequently, exploring new islands and falling in love with old favourites all over again.
With adventures as diverse as her destinations, Dani is a passionate animal lover and cherishes memories like visiting orangutans in Borneo, swimming with whale sharks in the Maldives, practising yoga with flamingos in the Bahamas, and spotting rhinos on a walking safari in Botswana.
Dani is happiest with a passport in hand, ready to embark on her next adventure, whether it’s exploring Japan's vibrant culture, India's rich history, or any corner of the globe that calls her name.
